Why I Created It’s Safe to Love Me

Why I Created It’s Safe to Love Me

There was a time when writing was the only place I could be completely honest.

Before there was a poetry book, before a healing journal, and before a novel, there were quiet moments where I wrote simply to understand myself. I wasn’t writing for an audience. I was writing to listen. To slow down. To make sense of love, loss, and the parts of myself that were still learning how to soften.

It’s Safe to Love Me began as a sentence I needed to believe.

Those private journal entries eventually became poems. The poems revealed patterns I couldn’t ignore. Love that lingered longer than expected. Grief that reshaped my heart. Healing that arrived gently instead of all at once. Writing became both witness and refuge.

As this work grew, it wanted to live beyond the page.

That is how the poetry book came to be, followed by the healing journal, a space created for readers to write their own truth, without pressure or perfection. And now, a novel, coming soon, expanding these themes through story and lived experience.

But words don’t only live in books.

I also create jewelry paired with intentional message cards, each one written slowly and with care. These messages are small reminders, meant to be held close, worn daily, or gifted to someone you love. They carry the same heart as my writing: reassurance, tenderness, and the quiet reminder that you are worthy of love as you are.

Whether through poetry, journaling, story, or a handwritten message tucked inside a jewelry box, everything I create is rooted in the same belief, that healing is personal, love is sacred, and meaning lives in the details.

If you are in a season of becoming, of remembering yourself, or learning how to love more gently, you are welcome here.
